Big Feelings Live Here
For dogs that experience the world a little bigger.
Woof Houze specializes in dogs who have been labeled reactive, anxious, nervous, fearful, aggressive, difficult or uncooperative.
We look beyond the label.Woof Houze specializes in dogs who have been labeled reactive, anxious, nervous, fearful, aggressive, difficult or uncooperative.
We look beyond the label.
A dog barking, lunging, freezing, shutting down, fleeing, growling, struggling with touch, refusing grooming, panicking around visitors or falling apart in new places is telling us something.
Our work centers canine mental health awareness, nervous-system regulation, relationship and understanding.

What Big Feelings Can Look Like
Big feelings do not always look the same.
Your dog may struggle with people entering the home, passing dogs on walks, unfamiliar environments, grooming, nail trims, veterinary handling, body care, touch, restraint, visitors, car rides or simply recovering once something has overwhelmed them.
Some dogs explode.
Some freeze.
Some hide.
Some become hypervigilant.
Some seem fine until suddenly they are not.
We are interested in what is happening underneath the behavior, not simply making the behavior disappear.
We Don’t Start With Obedience
We are not asking:
How do we control this dog?
We are asking:
What is this dog experiencing?
What overwhelms them?
What helps them recover?
What does their environment feel like to them?
What is their behavior communicating?
What does their relationship with their person look like?
Some dogs do not need more obedience.
They need help regulating.
Private Big Feelings Support
For dogs who need individualized support, we offer private work centered around their specific struggles.
This may include fear, environmental overwhelm, aggressive or reactive responses, visitor issues, leash struggles, husbandry, grooming challenges, handling or other situations where the dog is having difficulty coping.
Private support is offered in structured packages rather than individual one-off lessons.
Starting at $250.00

Husbandry + Handling
Some dogs struggle most when people need access to their bodies.
Nail trims. Brushing. Bathing. Grooming. Harnesses. Veterinary care. Touch. Restraint.
These struggles are often treated as stubbornness or noncompliance.
We look at them through the lens of regulation, trust, consent, communication and emotional safety.

Nothing is required of them.
60–90 minutes | $50 per family
Dogs must be appropriate for sharing space safely with the other participating dogs.
Canine Mental Health Matters
Dogs can live in prolonged states of fear, stress, overwhelm and hypervigilance.
They can become overloaded.
They can be misunderstood.
They can be repeatedly pushed into situations they are not ready for and corrected for the responses that follow.
We believe canine mental and emotional wellbeing deserves to be taken seriously.
Behavior is information.
And sometimes the dog everyone is trying to control is actually a dog who is struggling to cope.
